Club Teddy Bear

The 2008 Annual Edition is this 12" Teddy Bear made of a beautiful
gold colored mohair. His nose, mouth and claws are hand stitched and
he is fully jointed. The soles of his feet and paws are also made
of mohair. Around his neck he wears a green satin bow with gold colored
writing which identifies him as the 2008 Club Edition. "Steiff
Club" is embroidered on the left side, and "Edition 2008"
on the right. |

Club Black Teddy Bear
Membership Required For Purchase
This wonderful black bear is a replica of the 1907 original
kept in the Steiff archives and is limited to 3000 pieces. He was
probably the model for subsequent black bears (such as the Mourning
Bear of 1912) but unlike them, he has a sealing wax nose! Crafted
from the highest quality mohair with a deep black gloss and stuffed
by hand with with fine wood shavings. His paws are made of woolen
felt and his mouth and claws are hand stitched. On his pendant this
bear is identified as the 2008 Club Edition. This edition features
special black-and-white ear tag and, since he is a replica of a 1907
bear, his tag has an underscored button made of patented steel. |
